Finishes for Veneers
Veneers are often a cost-effective way for customers to get the wood they like without the expense of buying solid timber.
Finishing veneered surfaces needs to be done carefully as solvents in the finish or the finish itself (oils and waxes) may compromise the glue used to attached the veneer to the base timber. Woodoc offer a number of products suitable for veneers depending on whether the veneered wood is to be used internally or externally. Water borne products such as Woodoc Ultra Matt, Water-borne Floor and Marine are good for when minimal change to the bare-wood look is required; Woodoc 2000 will bring out the rich tones of the wood (interior wood use only).
