Woodoc 30 is a clear outdoor wood sealer. Woodoc 30 is a unique blend of wax and polymers specifically formulated as an exterior wood sealer, it contains UV protection compounds to offer great protection from the sun while providing a beautiful finish.

Woodoc 30 has excellent water-resistant properties and, according to our customers, it’s one of the best outdoor wood sealers they have ever used. Woodoc 30 is proven to work well on all types of wood including hardwoods (e.g. teak and oak) and resinous woods such as cedar. Many of our customers have successfully used it to seal Cedar Cladding. One of the reasons why it works well on Cedar, is that Woodoc 30 becomes microporous once cured. Being microporous means that Woodoc 30 allows the cedar oils and resins to come to the surface without compromising the finish, or the water resistant sealing of the wood.  

Woodoc 30 is a clear exterior wood sealer. It can be used as is in its clear form or can be tinted using one of our natural wood colour stains or one of our other 28 colours in our Woodoc Colours range. The colours can be mixed to create unique colour the customer is looking for or to colour match something already in place. This is particularly useful when restoring woods. Furthermore, we often recommend the addition of a stain to obtain a more uniform finish in the cases where the wood is weather damaged or water stained such that discoloration or stains on the wood are still evident even after the initial preparatory cleaning/sanding.

Please note that the Woodoc method of staining the wood is to work with it and not cover its natural beauty, for this reason our stains are not opaque, but provide a semi-transparent finish, so the final colour of the wood is a combination of the pigments and the underlying colour of the wood treated.

Woodoc 30 is very versatile and it can be used on all exterior wood including windows, doors, garden rooms, offices and sheds. Due to its water-resistant properties, UV resistance and flexibility in being coloured it is used also as a wooden fence sealer or to finish garden furniture. Applied on wooden garden tables or chairs, the waxes contained in it give it a warm silky finish as if the furniture had been oiled, but with the advantage that the protection is more permanent so you don’t have to do it again for one or more seasons.
